CBCM volunteers are proud of and grateful for the recognition received for the important work they do. The following awards have been granted to CBCM since it started in 2003.

2011

Protector of the Environment Award from the Chicago Audubon Society to Annette Prince, Director of Chicago Bird Collision Monitors.

2009

National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association Marlys J. Bulander Working Together for Wildlife Award to Annette Prince, Director of Chicago Bird Collision Monitors, for the individual who has brought together individuals, organizations, rehabilitation facilities, agencies, industries, businesses and/or academia in a cooperative effort to make a positive difference for wildlife.

2008

Grassroots Conservation Leadership Award from Audubon Chicago Region to Annette Prince, Director of Chicago Bird Collision Monitors.

2007

Resolution of Appreciation from the Bird Conservation Network, a Chicago-area coalition of 18 organizations sharing an interest in the conservation of birds, to the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors.

Advocacy Award from Friends of the Parks to Chicago Bird Collision Monitors.

2005

Protector of the Environment Award from the Chicago Audubon Society to Chicago Bird Collision Monitors.




Chicago Bird Collision Monitors (CBCM) is an all volunteer bird conservation project that operates under the auspices of
the Chicago Audubon Society.
